My Garden Mushroom Solar Light could be the answer to your problems. It features a high quality solar light unit in a 3D printed mushroom shaped light. With the remote control, you can turn it on and off when needed, and set the brightness level to low, medium or high. But, if you just want to let it do its own thing then you can just leave it on. It’ll switch on automatically when it gets dark and off when it gets light.
It’s not going to illuminate your whole garden like a flood light would. But it’s easily bright enough to add some decent ambient lighting as a table lamp if you’re outside having a meal or drinks with friends and family.
The light unit itself will withstand the great British weather. The body of the light is made from PETG (the same as drinking water bottles) so it will also be happy out in the garden in all weathers. However, like anything, it would benefit from being put away if it’s not being used.
The light is around 225mm tall and 240mm wide at its widest point.
