Welcome to The Glow Zone, where light meets art. We are a small, family business based in Hampshire where the aim is to create and curate beautiful, unique and personalised lighting and decorative items for you and your home.
My Story
It all started many moons ago when the first 3D printer arrived. I looked at it sat there, all shiny and new, with no idea what to do with it. Then, along came the UK PPE crisis and I joined a cooperative printing the headbands to hold masks on. The printer was running 24/7 printing these headbands for several months. The cooperative was run like a well oiled machine. Each geographic area had a representative who would come round every Friday to pick up your contribution. I printed hundreds and hundreds. The cooperative printed hundreds of thousands. Then the requirement ended and I was left shiny and a 3D printer that was no longer shiny and new.
Over the last 4 years, I’ve dabbled with all sorts. Mostly for myself and my family but more recently on a commercial/retail basis. Nobody can have failed to notice the craze for articulated dragons and other creatures. I’ve printed and sold many of those but my focus has become more and more on lights. Some where I hold a licence to print and sell the designs of some very talented people. But more and more are my own designs.
And so The Glow Zone was born to transform spaces with light.
My Mission
At The Glow Zone, my mission is to bring your lighting ideas to life and to, hopefully inspire you with our collections. We believe that lighting is not just about visibility but about creating moods, enhancing ambiance, and adding a touch of elegance to any space.

Bespoke Lighting Solutions: Whether you want to pick one of my limited run lights, or you have and idea of your own, I can probably help.
Custom Design Services: Do you want something as unique as you are? Talk to me and I’ll help you come up with something that works perfectly for you. It could be a piece for your home, or something branded for your business.
Quality: Perfection is my aim. The products I create and release into the wild are carefully chosen and I source the best components for them that I can. But they also evolve. Little tweaks here and there to make sure that they get better and better.
Laser: I have 2 laser cutter engravers at the moment that I use to enhance my lights with real wood products, and also to create items that complement some of the lights that I create.

Sustainable Practices: I am committed to sustainable practices, using eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient technologies wherever I possibly can to create lighting that’s kind to the environment. My workshop is mostly run by solar and, when there’s no sun, it runs off batteries that are charged overnight when electricity is supplied from sustainable sources
