This is definitely one of the most exciting things I’ve done for a while. When I was young, my dad used to make up bedtime stories for me and I absolutely loved them. I did the same with my daughters and they still remember even though the oldest is now 31 and has just given us our first grandchild – Nora (remember the name!)
Reading to your child is probably one of the most important gifts you can give them. The personalised children’s book and night light just takes things a step further.
Picture the scene… you’re putting your little one to bed and, of course, they want a bedtime story. Will it be The Elves and the Shoemaker? Maybe The Three Little Pigs… again?
Or, what about a personalised children’s book with night light where the name of the central character is the same as your child’s name?
You read your child THEIR bedtime story, after which they can drift off to sleep looking at the light that perfectly matches the story you just read to them. Set the timer for 30 minutes or an hour, by which time they’ll be asleep and their light will still have plenty of charge left for more nights.
You choose the story you want your child to feature in, the name and gender of the main character. Choose the name and type of animal for the sidekick.
Once you order, the wheels will start turning. It takes about 4 weeks from ordering before you get your personalised children’s book and night light. It’s a very high quality hardback book with around 30 pages of text and images. Perfect for younger children aged between 3 and 7.
The light will feature your child’s name and a matching character. It’s rechargeable and will last around 15 hours between charging depending on the colour you choose. It has a remote control to choose the colour and brightness, plus timers to switch the light off automatically after 30 or 60 minutes.
For the first in the series of personalised children’s books and night lights, we have:
Nora the Friendly Pirate and her best friend Nelson, the parrot.
Nora and Nelson sail the seven seas looking for adventures. Nora’s not like other pirates and one of her missions is to persuade the bad pirates to share their treasure with people from the local village who are poor.
