A full charge will give you up to 24 hours of use depending on the colour and brightness you use. Then just recharge using the included cable plugged into an USB adapter. The body of the light is made from PETG and the actual light unit inside is IP65 rated so, if you forget to bring it in and it rains, no harm will be done. I even use marine grade 316 stainless steel screws to hold the light in for the maximum protection
