This new Moon Dancers Fairies USB Lamp has to be one of the most charming lights I’ve made so far. There’s just something magical about the way the fairies seem to float around beneath the tree, with the gentle outlines of a townscape and a glowing full moon setting the scene in the background. Every time I turn it on, I notice a new detail — whether it’s the wings of a fairy mid-flight or the twist of the tree branches. It’s one of those lights that looks different depending on where you’re standing, which gives it a really special feel.
If you’re someone who loves a bit of enchantment in your home, or know someone who does, this is definitely a piece that will make you smile. It’s not just pretty to look at either – it’s a surprisingly practical light for everyday use.
It runs on low voltage USB power, which makes it ultra-safe, even for use in children’s bedrooms. It uses very little electricity too, which is always a bonus. You can control it with a remote (included), and there are 13 different colours to choose from depending on your mood or the time of day. You can even set it to gently fade through all the colours, which gives off the most calming, peaceful glow – perfect for winding down in the evening or as a night light.
There are four brightness settings too, so you can have it just as a soft ambient light or turn it up a bit if you need a bit more glow in the room. The lamp is made from PLA, a plant-based material that’s both strong and eco-friendly.
